Azure Blockchain team wants our customers to adopt Azure Blockchain Service which supports a Ethereum based ledger i.e. Quorum as we will be able to provide better support and SLA for our managed service. Also, we do not see much demand for Etheruem POA template and with recent changes of Parity Ethereum moving to OpenEthereum, the template offering will soon be obsolete.
